BIO

Ken Gagne writes blended-genre books about the human condition. He writes fast and from the heart, with empathy and wit. He weaves themes of love, loss, family, and hope into all of his stories. He creates relatable characters who are fallible and vulnerable—they don’t always get what they want or know what they need.

Ken was born in Chicopee, Massachusetts. At six years old, he was an acrobat; at twelve, the best cartoonist in town; at twenty, a semi-pro baseball player; at thirty-five, a happily married father of two in the midst of a dreamy career as a producer for NBA Entertainment. In 2021 he published his first book, the memoir You’re Gonna Miss Me Someday, as a gift for his deceased parents. He has not stopped writing since.

He and his wife live in Maplewood, New Jersey with their cat Gary and are the proud parents of two grown children.
